I am happy to say that I am no longer in the group Painting-The-Turf and, due to my experience with the way the group is run, I would not recommend that you join it if you're looking for a Splatoon RP group. If you need details on why this experience was bad please send me a note and I will more than happily explain the situation. I used to be a mod there, and from a little before that point onwards, the whole thing went downhill. 

I couldn't stand looking at that weirdo cheeb anymore when it came to references, so I updated the lameo cheery squid kid!

Personality:
    Coral is very outgoing and is definitely a risk taker, although these risks typically end up getting her splatted. She isn't afraid to play rough and can sometimes get out of hand. She can be a bit hot headed and stubborn, so steer clear of her during splatfests. She's also a sore loser so uh watch out for her temper tyrantrums. She is very impulsive, and this occasionally leads to fist-fighting when paired with her temper. 

Likes:
    + The star marking on her left tentacle

    + Playing rough (Watch out, she'll peg a football at anyone who says she throws like a girl) 

Dislikes:

    - Don't touch her tentacles without asking, she'll flip out
    - When people refuse to reciprocate handshakes
    - People who don't take care of themselves

Background:
    Coral grew up in a small neighborhood called Talapia Town that was mostly full of young couples and older folks. She and her family got along pretty well, which was nothing to complain about. Her father eventually got a promotion, leading them to Cephalo(pod) City! While she didn't really enjoy it at first, she learned to love it and of course her parents let her get whatever weapons she wanted so that she could compete in turf wars. RIP Coral, competes in turf wars and after she got a gun she figured out she really couldn't shoot. So, she got a roller so that she could still participate. She's still rather dedicated to whatever studies she'd taken in squidschool, namely biology. She's honestly fascinated that humans had bones. Who even needs those things? It's not like they had a purpose or anything. Actually they did, she just thinks that inklings are superior. You've gotta be squidding me Coral. 

    In terms of familial relations, Coral's family is a very complicated one. Her father is a businessman, and he owns many different offices for many different things, but mainly they focus on the medical field. She and her father tend to get along, but her half siblings don't really like him that much. This is understandable, considering that Coral's mother was actually one of her father's employees that he ended up divorcing his past wife in order to marry. This leads to competition between Coral's siblings and her father to try and win her over to their side of the issue. When she and her half siblings were young they were around each other quite often, and Owen and Coral particularly had a lot of tension. The both of them tended to be very violent towards one another and, for a time, Owen ended up beating Coral in physical altercations and walking off. This did, of course, get him into trouble, but he didn't care much. This lead Coral to start taking MMA and self defense courses, which she excels at now. She also ended up getting into a lot of sports around this time to stay out of her house for longer, and in turn, staying away from the near-chaos of her family. In the present, Owen now constantly tries to make up for his previous mistakes by offering Coral whatever she'd like, which just so happens to be possible thanks to his very successful singing career. Coral hardly, if ever, takes him up on this though, considering she's still a bit salty over everything that's happened. Of course, if there's something she really wants and she's short on cash, she might take this offer. 

Strengths and Weaknesses:
    Coral is rather strong in anything physical, seeing as how she's been participating in athletics and self defense / MMA for around 8 years now. She's also very strong in math and science, seeing as how she enjoys them and finds them practical. Both of these skills lead to her agility, attack, and strategy in turf war. She's also surprisingly good at singing and acting, although she does not like showcasing these talents very much.
    However, there can be no strengths without weaknesses, as having only strength is a very unlikely and in most if not all cases impossible thing to do. She is horrible at english (essays are her worst nightmare) and language B, alongside physical arts (pen/paper, sculpting, etc). She also isn't terribly great at taking hits, but her agility more than covers this and she can take a few hits rather well. Any more than a few and she may as well me coughing up ink. Of course, a little pain wouldn't stop her if she's really into it. 

Extra: 
    + The ribboned tissue on her is based off of the same sort of tissue around a cuttlefish's body 
        + This tissue is only on her right tentacle
    + While most of her spots are normal, on her left tentacle she has one star shaped marking that she's rather proud of and, as such, she ties the bow in such a way that leaves it visible
    + Rollers are her friends
    + Science and Math nerd
        + Terrible at pretty much everything else 
    + Really loves handshakes
    + Can sing pretty well, but hates to do so 
    + Prone to injury
    + Actually very lame
    + Admires pretty much anyone who can use a charger really well
    + She's got squid puns for days and losing streaks twice as long
